Haberman talks U.S. Pond Hockey with “CBS This Morning”

Ice, sweat and beers – The U.S. Pond Hockey Championships have it all. It’s a weekend of camaraderie and competition over a game that many have cherished since childhood. The tournament is everything that our founder and CEO Fred Haberman – also the founder of the U.S. Pond Hockey Championships – could have hoped for and more. Calling it “the greatest experience known to mankind,” Fred took to the ice for the eighth straight year, and talked with CBS This Morning about the tournament that, to him, is “about being a kid again.” 1,900 players from 45 states and multiple countries (including a few members of the Haberman tribe) along with 20,000+ spectators came out this year to be part of the phenomenon.
