Community Reinvestment Fund, USA (CRF) improves the lives of people living in economically disadvantaged communities and has provided more than $1 billion for job creation or retention. Haberman has told the stories in many ways, most recently helping the Minneapolis-based nonprofit go from 0 to 1,700 fans on Facebook in just two weeks to compete for and receive a $500,000 grant from Sam's Club.
Results:
- Facebook, Twitter and YouTube promotions in the Sam's Club "Giving Made Simple" contest resulted in a second place finish worth $500,000.
- Media coverage in the Star Tribune, Arizona Republic, WCCO-TV and moneymsn.com accrued nearly 12 million impressions.
