Shining a light on energy efficient bulbs

Vu1 Corporation took a classic technology and re-imagined it in 2010, creating the world's first energy efficient, mercury-free light bulb for the consumer market called Electron Stimulated Luminescence, or ESL. Bridging the gap between scientists, environmentalists and U.S. consumers, Haberman crafted and told the ESL story to key media covering emerging technologies, environmental issues and consumer trends, created a social media presence for Vu1 and developed ESL Wikipedia content to put this start-up in the spotlight.
