Who would have guessed that the general manager of the U.S. Pond Hockey Championships (USPHC) is also Haberman’s CKO (Chief Kindness Officer)?
It’s true. Haberman’s ninth employee, Claudine Galloway has shared her big smile and genuine care for others since day one, even as she juggles all things pond hockey – from hosting 1,500 hockey players and their rabid fans to managing media partnerships and helping to fulfill sponsorships.
Claudine’s passion for forging change in the world that benefits families and environment is apparent as she leads wildly successful campaigns for the Minnesotans’ Military Appreciation Fund and the Minneapolis Bike Tour, as well as Haberman’s own composting and Adopt-A-Person initiatives.
Prior to joining Haberman, Claudine, an animal lover, worked for Colle+McVoy, where she implemented a “Drive Against Pain” campaign for Pfizer Animal Health with Doris Roberts, star of “Everybody Loves Raymond.” A dedicated publicist at every turn, Claudine even drove through New York in a branded RV equipped for a senior dog.
Fluent in Spanish, Claudine also worked for Comunicación Corporativa, a Ketchum Public Relations affiliate in Costa Rica, where she implemented programs for Nokia and Delta Airlines in Central America.
A mother of three and practical joker, Claudine enjoys making her kids laugh and spending time with them on trips to northern Minnesota. A self-described eco-champion, Claudine makes homemade organic baby food, has her own vegetable garden and spreads the word about eco-issues to anyone who will listen.
Claudine is a cum laude graduate of the University of North Dakota (UND), Grand Forks, where she earned bachelor of arts degrees in communication, Spanish and international studies.
And as you might suspect, she’s a big fan of UND Sioux hockey.
