Eric Block
Storyteller

In a business where creative services and business operations often co-exist uncomfortably, on opposing sides of the office, Eric Block is a peacemaker.

With more than 25 years of brand building and agency leadership experience, Eric uses his rare combination of business acumen and creative thinking to build strong brands and inspire customers to action.

Eric joined Haberman in July 2010 to help clients understand that being responsible – to employees, consumers and the environment – is not only good for society, but also good for business. Under Eric’s direction, Haberman’s creative services group is better equipped to brand-build at every level, in every discipline – from corporate identity to website and everywhere in-between.

In 2004, Eric was one of the founding partners of Duffy & Partners, an internationally recognized branding and design firm, where he led operations and business development efforts as well as serving as senior strategist on branding initiatives for clients such as Coca-Cola, Panera Bread, Mars, Aveda, Thymes, GMAC, HandsOn Network and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Eric’s work experience also includes 17 years with Fallon Worldwide, most recently as Chief Operating Officer. At Fallon, Eric was the chief architect of the company’s global expansion and broadened integrated marketing capabilities.

Eric has developed highly effective branding solutions for a wide range of global clients including United Airlines, Federal Express, EDS, McDonald’s, International Trucks, Jim Beam Brands and Mercury Marine. He also led the team that reinvigorated the venerable Purina Dog Chow brand, a case history that was recognized with the American Marketing Association's Grand EFFIE.

Before joining Fallon, Eric worked as VP/Creative Services for Fox Television in Los Angeles, where he helped launch FOX, the fourth television network, in 1986.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, Eric enjoys being outdoors with his Gordon Setter. He resides in Hopkins, Minn.
