Creative sparks flicker on and off, but a sound business strategy is like “the big bang” – it changes the universe forever. Julie Lunn is the catalyst who drives the Haberman tribe to use its powers of persuasion for maximum good, while searching out the pioneering foundations, companies and individuals who bring meaning to our mission.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is more than just an oft-turned marketing phrase to Julie – it acknowledges the tremendous influence corporate culture has on people and their constituent communities. Her goal is to connect the passions of the Haberman tribe with companies who share our values and pioneering spirit.
With a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree that includes CSR coursework, Julie works closely with agency leadership on business strategy and marketing to ensure every opportunity Haberman pursues suits our mission, vision and culture. Prior to earning her MBA, Julie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from the University of Minnesota.
For the past eight years, Julie managed product launches, crisis communications, agency operations and marketing for the Fresh Ideas Group in Boulder, Colo., an agency specializing in natural, organic and gourmet food products. With such a keen sense of taste, it’s no wonder Julie chose to travel to Thailand for her honeymoon rather than Peru – a decision based solely on cuisine.
