Breathe in. Breathe out. That’s Lisa Blakeborough’s approach to tight deadlines and hectic production schedules. As a Haberman interactive storyteller and Bikram yoga instructor, Lisa balances the rigors of graphic design, Web design, Flash design and illustration while maintaining the core strength of her chi.

Lisa is not satisfied to simply work and earn a living. She follows her passions for art, nature and wellness and is most creative when her work aligns with her heart. Some of Lisa’s best concepts come to life while she’s on the yoga mat, hiking in the woods or cross-country skiing around the city lakes.

Naturally, Lisa’s work reflects her love for the outdoors. Her illustrations make liberal use of earth tones and natural forms, yet retain an dynamic, eye-dazzling quality that’s so important to the Facebook generation.

With such an affinity for the natural world, it’s no wonder that, prior to joining the Haberman tribe, Lisa earned her degree in landscape architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Lisa also worked as a landscape architect for Minneapolis-based Hammel Green and Abrahamson architecture and as a graphic designer for the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, seamlessly joining her twin passions of art and the outdoors in order to inspire people and heal the planet.
