Kristin Sullivan’s love of storytelling traces back to her childhood. She loved hearing and reading stories. Pippi Longstocking, Meet Kirsten: An American Girl and Little House on the Prairie come to mind. She’d plead to her dad, “Read me another story,” rather than go to sleep.
As a teenager and into adulthood, she was a competitive figure skater. It was on the ice that she felt most comfortable and through movement found her own distinct method for sharing her stories.
Her attention to detail, her extensive planning and organization skills, her confident demeanor, her seemingly effortless execution – are all characteristics she demonstrated as a figure skater then and as a modern storyteller now.
Her past professional experience reads like a list of big names in Minnesota business: Northwest Airlines, Macy’s, General Mills, Cub Foods, Gold Medal Park and the Holidazzle parades, as well as Procter & Gamble. Her mantle is graced with numerous regional and national public relations awards, including a PRSA Silver Anvil, IABC Gold Quill, PR Week Award, PR News Platinum Award and numerous PRSA Classic Awards and IABC Bronze Quill Awards.
